Chief Executive Officer

Administrator of Seyba Camara Holding

Origins and education

Mahamadou Seyba Camara was born on June 3, 1974, in Bamako, Mali, into a family of merchants.

From a young age, he learns the value of work and money from his father, who assigns him activities at the market during school vacations. These early experiences shape his entrepreneurial spirit and develop his taste for business.

In 1995, he obtained a degree in accounting from the Quinzambougou Technical Training Center (CFTQ) after studying at Bouillagui Fadiga high school.

That same year, he created his first company: Mamadou Camara Import-Export, along with a currency exchange office at the Grand Market of Bamako.

First steps in entrepreneurship

The success of this first company was remarkable. Very quickly, Mamadou Camara established international contacts, particularly in Dubai, and developed currency exchanges and import-export activities. This dynamism and vision gave him the courage and ambition to create a second structure. In 2005, he founded Seyba Transit Transport, specializing in transit and transport. This company also experienced rapid success, propelling him among the most successful young Malian entrepreneurs of his generation.

Expansion and leadership

Building on his successes, Mahamadou Seyba Camara decided in 2007 to group and develop his activities under one entity: Seyba Camara Holding. The group diversified its interventions across several strategic sectors:

• Security

• Hydrocarbons

• Agri-food

• Transport and logistics

Thanks to his vision and spirit of innovation, Seyba Camara Holding has become, over the years, a key player in economic development in West Africa.

Commitments and awards

From 1998 to 2003, Mamadou Camara also chaired a sports association in Djélibougou, contributing to the development of the youth in his neighborhood. This role earned him respect and the nickname “President” among his peers. In 2018, he received his first award as a young entrepreneur, recognizing his courage, determination, and impact on the business world.

Vision and message to the youth

Married and a father, Mahamadou Seyba Camara also aims to be an example and a guide for African youth. Inspired by his father, uncles, and the leaders who surrounded him, he advocates courage, seriousness, and perseverance as keys to success. "Young people must take their work seriously, be courageous and persevering. I would like to be an example for them and show them that with determination and a good vision, great things can be built." - Mahamadou Seyba Camara
